The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently traveling to the Fernie 2 Neighborhood Hall in Mpuluzi to render providers on the community.

SASSA will likely be rendering providers for instance new social grant applications, change of payment method, client treatment enquiries, as well as the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a press release, the agency claimed it is actually alarmed with regard to the substantial number of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The aim with the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to some significant number of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This really is mainly because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is sassa no totally functional office committed to service the area regularly. The services position made for intervention ordeals a superior inflow of potential beneficiaries, which makes it difficult for the office to attend to all people who go to a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise a lot more means to enable the servicing of all consumers and enhance usage of Social Assistance solutions,” the agency said.
